About us
At Wefo-Tec, we have been passionately specializing in bringing precision and partnership to every single component since 2002 – from prototypes to small series.
As a family-run company based in Markt Erlbach, we combine experience with technical progress: CNC turning, milling, grinding and wire and die-sinking EDM – all from a single source, all with a system.
Our claim? Not just “manufacture”, but think along with you. We work with you to develop well thought-out production concepts, react flexibly to technical requirements and deliver what really gets you ahead – on time, with process reliability and precision.
Our customers value us because they know: We keep our promises. And what we build fits.
“We are proud of our craftsmanship, of our region and of every component that leaves our company.”

This is what we stand for
Wefo-Tec is backed by an experienced team of technicians who not only manufacture with precision, but also take responsibility – for schedules, quality and the success of your project.
We think along with you, act pragmatically and deliver what you need: clean processes, measurable quality and personal communication at eye level.
Our promise: no excuses, just results.
This is what we stand for
With the expansion of our production area to 1,000 m² and the purchase of a 3D scanner (GOM), we set new standards in precision and quality assurance. In addition, daughter Mona Kaipl joined the company management – a strong signal for continuity and the future.
We invested in a milling center with pallet changer – for greater efficiency, precision and throughput speed in series processing.
Another milling center with pallet changer was added. This allowed us to increase our capacity and remain on schedule even when demand increased.
In 2006, we expanded our parts production and produced the first prototype parts for e-drive systems – including inverter components and contacting insulating parts. A further step towards future technology.
In 2004, we grew to three employees and invested in our first 5-axis milling machine – a step into new dimensions of precision. Supplemented by a hand-guided measuring machine, we focused early on quality that is measurable.
In 2008, we grew to five employees, expanded our production area to 500 m² and set up our own quality assurance system – for precision that we were able to officially prove from then on.
Johann Kaipl started in 2003 with two employees, a clear vision and a passion for precision. The first equipment: three CNC milling machines, a lathe, die-sinking and wire erosion machines, two injection molding machines and an IT system with PowerShape and PowerMill. The beginning of a success story – used machines became lived perfection.
In 2015, our team grew to eleven employees. The next generation joined the company with Mona Kaipl, who took over international communications. We also expanded our machinery to include a modern turning/milling center – for even more efficient production from a single source.
In 2011, we employed eight people, acquired our first potential foreign customer and invested in a CNC-controlled measuring machine. We set new standards in the e-drive sector with our entry into the prototype production of mechanical components for electric motors.
As a company, it is important to us not only to manufacture high-quality products, but also to support young people and projects that promote technology and teamwork. With our sponsorship, we want to make a small contribution to helping students, clubs and initiatives put their ideas into practice.
We have been supporting the Formula Student teams of the Technical University of Nuremberg (Strohm und Söhne) and the Technical University of Munich (TUfast) for over ten years. Every year, the students develop an electric racing car with which they take part in European competitions.
As part of our sponsorship, we manufacture and provide various components and spare parts for the vehicles. This allows the teams to implement their concepts and gain experience in design, production and organization.
We are delighted to be able to support young people in their technical training in this way. The commitment, creativity and enthusiasm of the students impress us anew every year – and we are happy to be a small part of it.
